The court – An experience inside a cage
The padel court spans a 10×20 meter area, which is approximately 25% smaller than a tennis court. This compact size results in a more dynamic, faster game, where reaction time and tactical sense are more important than raw power. In the middle of the court is a net, which is 92 cm high at the edges and 88 cm in the middle – this slight curvature ensures the net's stability, while also visually helping players execute accurate shots.
In the four corners of the court are service boxes, which determine where the ball must arrive during the serve. These rectangles are smaller than in tennis, which requires more precise serving, but due to the smaller court size, this doesn't pose excessive difficulty even for beginners.

Why is it enclosed?
The court is surrounded by glass walls and metal mesh, which are active parts of the game. This is one of padel's most exciting elements, originating from squash. The ball rebounding off the walls stays in play, which opens up a completely new tactical dimension for players.
Using the walls allows for creative solutions and also helps beginners, since the ball less frequently leaves the playing area. The glass walls are generally 3 meters high both at the back and on the sides, and the upper section is supplemented with metal mesh up to a height of 4 meters. This design is not only practical but also spectacular: it provides spectators with a perfect view of the game, while remaining transparent enough for players to see the court clearly.
The quality and thickness of the glass walls meet strict standards to withstand ball impacts and ensure players' safety.
Characteristics of Padel Galis courts
The PPA court was born from the collaboration between Padel Galis and the Professional Padel Association (PPA), offering numerous innovative solutions for both players and spectators.
Padel Galis courts are designed with players' needs in mind. The innovative lighting, premium materials, and special artificial turf together ensure an excellent playing experience, whether for amateur or professional players.
Safe and practical design
Ball storage compartments integrated into the net support posts provide a convenient solution during play. In addition, the court's design eliminates traditional net coverings without compromising player safety.
The court's structure is made from corrosion-resistant materials using laser cutting technology, which allows moisture to drain and prevents rusting. The paint used comes with a 10-year warranty, meeting Qualisteelcoat® C4H and C5VH standards (ISO 12944).
PG5 artificial turf – Developed for players
The PG5-type artificial turf used on Padel Galis courts is specifically tailored to the demands of padel.
The PG5 turf features optimal-height, textured fibers that optimize the ball's bounce and the players' movement. The surface's enhanced sliding capability reduces stress on the joints, lowering the risk of injury.
The artificial turf is fully recyclable, as both the backing and the fibers come from the same polyolefin family. This makes recycling easier, since there's no need to separate different materials.
